For today’s adventure, I thought we would take a little walk to the dark side. No, not ebony or blacks on blonde action, but some kinky, fetish BDSM. Directed by Frank Gun, Enslaved Amazons certainly fits the studio’s mold. The movie opens with Bonnie Bon naked and tied up on her knees inside a cage. The lighting is minimal, and the audio sounds like what you would expect filming inside an actual condemned building. This is no soundstage. It’s hard to completely dismiss this as an amateur pass at BDSM when you look at the rope-work involved, but aside from that it seems like a thinly veiled attempt to dominate and demean the women. The third scene is the exception to the movie and it’s too bad it wasn’t the norm. There is certainly a demand for the hyper-sensitive aggressive porn, but trying to cloak this under the idea of BDSM certain does an unwelcome disservice to that lifestyle.
